Planning is now in full swing! A few things to note:
Registration for the flour bomb drop and spot landing start one and a half hours before each event, but you do not have to be registered before they start. We will take participants for each as long as time and space allows!
For the flour bomb drop competition, we will again have pilots available for bombers without a ship! $25 donation for two attempts (cash or Venmo). SPOTS ARE LIMITED and are first come, first served.
The airport will remain open for arrivals during all the events, just please communicate with your fellow pilots in the air and those of us on the ground as you come in so we can keep everyone safe.
Some of the final details are still TBD, but here is what we know so far:
Friday, Sept 19, 2025
4:00pm Airport opens for arrivals. You can come earlier, but we may put you to work helping us set up!
6:30pm Dinner served by EAA Chapter 384 for donation (Burgers, brats, hotdogs, chips and salad)
Join us for some “fun flying” (ie- spot landing practice, STOL for fun, etc)
Ice Cream Social -- After dinner, join us for a west taxiway walk to the Waller Farms Hangar for MOOMERS ice cream! Pick your individual cup and keep walking to check out the east side taxiway hangar homes and private hangars. Enjoy a special treat while exercising!

8:00am Breakfast served by Brighton Airport Association for donation and Marlie’s Mixer will be set up with their amazing coffees, teas, and specialty drinks
9:30am Flour Bomb Drop registration opens~ spots are limited!
11:00am Flour Bomb Drop starts; awards to follow
3/4:00pm Duck Dump! Once we wrap up the Flour Bomb Drop, we will drop TONS of rubber duckies for the kiddos! Find the special duck and win a prize!
Stello’s Burgers & Loaded Fries and Los 2 Primos food trucks will be on site for lunch and dinner purchases!

8:00am Marlie’s Mixer will open back up to help us get the day started with some go-go juice! Breakfast with Sly Fox Pizza offering bagels, homemade pastries, breakfast pizza, and breakfast sandwiches for purchase
9:30am Spot Landing registration opens
11:00am Spot Landing competition starts; another DUCK DUMP for the kiddos and awards to follow
Sourpuss Lemonade and Sly Fox Pizza will be on site for lunch purchases!
Probably more flying, because, well, it is an airport.
We do not have a set end time for the day~ you are welcome to hang out as long as you would like!
